Delaware will only see a partial eclipse of the Sun on April 8, 2024. The most coverage of the disk of the Sun by the Moon will be in the northern part of the state at around 90%. The lowest amount will be in the state’s southern part at about 86%.

The next total eclipse of the Sun for Delaware will be on May 1, 2079. (See map below.)
