Florida will only see a partial eclipse of the Sun on April 8, 2024. The most coverage of the disk of the Sun by the Moon will be in the northwestern corner of the state at around 80%. The lowest amount will be in the state’s southeastern part at 54%.

The next total eclipse of the Sun for Florida will be on August 12, 2045, which can be seen in a good portion of the state. (See map below.)
