Georgia will only see a partial eclipse of the Sun on April 8, 2024. The most coverage of the disk of the Sun by the Moon will be in the northwestern corner of the state at around 89%. The lowest amount will be in the state’s southeastern part at 72%.

The next total eclipse of the Sun for Georgia will be on August 12, 2045, in the state’s lower-left corner. (See map below.)
