Idaho will only see a partial eclipse of the Sun on April 8, 2024. The most coverage of the disk of the Sun by the Moon will be in the southeastern corner of the state at around 60%. The lowest amount will be in the state’s northern part at 38%.

The next total eclipse of the Sun for Idaho will be on June 25, 2169, in the lower portion of the state. (See map below.)
