Kansas will only see a partial eclipse of the Sun on April 8, 2024. The most coverage of the disk of the Sun by the Moon will be in the southeastern corner of the state at around 94%. The lowest amount will be in the northwestern part of Kansas at 76%.

The next total eclipse of the Sun for Kansas will be on August 12, 2045, in the lower-west part of the state. (See map below.)
