Maryland will only see a partial eclipse of the Sun on April 8, 2024. The most coverage of the disk of the Sun by the Moon will be in the northwestern corner of the state at around 93%. The lowest amount will be in the state’s southeastern part at 85%.
The next total eclipse of the Sun for Maryland will be on September 14, 2099, in the very western portion of the state. (See map below.)
