Minnesota will only see a partial eclipse of the Sun on April 8, 2024. The most coverage of the disk of the Sun by the Moon will be in the southeastern corner of the state at around 82%. The lowest amount will be in the state’s northwestern part at about 65%.

The next total eclipse of the Sun for Minnesota will be on September 14, 2099. (See map below.)
