Ohio will see a total eclipse of the Sun on April 8, 2024. Totality will be in the state’s northwestern half, including the cities of Dayton, Norwalk, and Cleveland, to name a few. Greenville will have the maximum length of darkness, lasting 3 minutes and 56 seconds.
The next total eclipse of the Sun for Ohio will be on September 14, 2099. (See map below.)
