Lunar Eclipses

Penumbral Eclipse of the Moon January 10, 2020 Eastern Hemisphere

This eclipse is a rather minor event. The Moon passes the outer fringes of Earth’s shadow. From Earth, the southern tip of the Moon looks like it has a cloud blocking out some of the moonlight. This is the first of four penumbral eclipses for 2020. There will be no partial or total lunar eclipses this year. You have to be mainly in the eastern hemisphere to see this celestial event. https://vimeo.com/382319478
